Our watercolors are made with the best pigments available,which are sourced from reliable distributors and manufacturers around the globe. The paints contain no fillers and are made of pure pigments and binder. The binder is made of gum rabic, acacia honey, a touch of plant based glycerin, clove oil and distilled water. Following the traditional method, the pigment is mulled on a glass slab with glass muller for an hour or more to give you the best quality paint with smoothest consistency.
Handmade paints are inherently different from the machine produced professional watercolors and you might find some inconsistencies like cracks and bubbles in your pans. These do not affect the quality of the paint at all. Each pigment dries according to its own individual characteristics. We try to minimize the cracking without affecting the handling properties of the paint. Each pan is filled in multiple layers and each layer is given adequate amount of time to dry in between. As a result, the pans are packed with pigment to the brim and will give you bang for your bucks!!
